Monty Martin
Seventy-seven year old Monty was born in St Albans but moved to Hull aged 17. He worked in Hull as an Articles Clerk before becoming a solicitor and recalls legal processes from the 1960s and 1970s. Monty was the chairman of the West Hull Young Socialists during the mid 1960s. He spent time at the Windsor Hall Jazz Club and Blue Bell Folk Club and was a founder member of the ‘Ted Lewis Group’.
