Margaret Wilson
In the first part of the interview Margaret talks about growing up as part of an extended and close knit Catholic family in the Lidell Street area of the city. She later talks about the move to Greatfield Estate and passing her 11 plus to go to St Mary’s Grammar school before finally discussing some of her early work for the civil service and fire brigade.
In part two Margaret talks in depth about her social life in the 60s and 70s, the various pubs and clubs she would go to, including seeing the Beatles at the ABC cinema as well as getting married and moving up the property ladder.
