Elsie Beet-Atkinson

Elsie talks about moving to Bilton Grange as a child and her memories there during the blitz and of a ‘peace party’ at the end of the war. She goes onto to describe working at Jackson’s grocery shop and her marriage to her first husband who was in the Merchant Navy and often away at sea. She later talks about her divorce, second marriage and her attitude to changing family dynamics in the modern world.
