David was born in Bridlington. He moved to Hull in 2015 to be near his partner’s family. He recalls visiting his Aunt in Hull as a child, travelling into Paragon Station and going to Hammonds to see Father Christmas. David remembers life as a teenager during the 1960s. He was a drummer in a group that supported some big names and competed in a talent show where the winner was Showaddywaddy.
