Rosemary Bower

Rosemary grew up in a family of eight children and her father died early. Her mother worked very hard, having several jobs, so the children did chores, including going to the pawn shop. She describes her early life, the games they played and what the hair, make up and fashion were like. Rosemary worked at Reckitts in a printing department. She describes getting married in 1956, living with her husband’s parents and pregnancy and birth. Rosemary talks about family life during the 1950s and 1960s.
